Clear roles. Specific verification. Protected release.
Effective 30 July 2026 · Version 1.3
Unless marked “Sold by Amaboxly,” Preloved items are offered by the named independent seller and the sale is between the buyer and that seller. Amaboxly operates the marketplace, reviews listings, provides a complaint channel and manages seller-payout release eligibility.
1. Platform role and independent sellers
Amaboxly provides the technology and moderation process that lets independent sellers list Preloved items. Unless a listing expressly says “Sold by Amaboxly,” Amaboxly is not the seller or owner of the item. Listing review checks whether a submission is suitable for publication; it is not a physical inspection or a general authenticity guarantee.
2. What Amaboxly can verify
An “Original Amaboxly Order & SKU Matched” badge means only that the submitted original order, SKU, signed-in customer record and private billing proof matched an item previously sold new by Amaboxly. It does not guarantee present condition, current ownership, chain of custody, lack of alteration or authenticity after the original delivery.
A “Seller-Declared Authentic” badge means the seller made the authenticity declaration, but Amaboxly could not verify the item’s origin or an original Amaboxly purchase.
3. Seller duties and disclosures
Before approval, sellers must provide accurate identity and contact records, the required public seller disclosures, actual-item photos, an English item description, condition, defects, repairs, alterations, missing parts, full buyer-facing item price, estimated delivery time and any applicable certificate. Sellers must own the item, keep their information current and expressly accept the disclosed 10% marketplace fee.
Public seller information appears on each listing. Government identity information is kept private, encrypted at rest and restricted to authorised staff. Required seller and transaction records are retained for at least three years.
4. Payment release and complaints
Amaboxly deducts a 10% marketplace fee from the buyer-facing item price. The fee is not added to that displayed item price. It excludes separately shown delivery and tax, and promotional codes do not apply to Preloved items. The fee is rounded to the nearest sen using half-up rounding; the seller payout is the item price minus that rounded fee.
Amaboxly collects buyer payment through the payment methods shown at checkout. The remaining 90% seller proceeds are recorded as held in Amaboxly’s manual payout ledger and become eligible for release only after the buyer confirms physical receipt of the item. A refund, cancellation, complaint, invalid order snapshot or other policy remedy blocks payout or sends it for review. Current functionality is a manual release process, not a representation that funds are held in a legally regulated escrow account.
The signed-in buyer can confirm physical receipt or report a problem from the order details page. A buyer can also use the complaint channel. A reported problem pauses release while it is reviewed.
5. Counterfeit items and material misrepresentation
Counterfeit items are prohibited. Where Amaboxly reasonably finds that an item is counterfeit or materially misrepresented, it may reject or remove the listing, cancel or refund the affected transaction, withhold affected seller proceeds, recover documented direct return, verification, refund and chargeback costs, suspend or terminate the account, preserve evidence and cooperate with authorities or rights holders where lawful.
Contractual remedies may take account of the affected transaction value and documented direct costs, subject to applicable law. These remedies are not statutory fines. Any statutory offence or penalty is determined by the relevant authority or court. A seller will be given notice and a reasonable opportunity to respond unless urgent action is needed to protect buyers or preserve evidence.
6. Returns, consumer rights and privacy
Condition and price are assessed in light of the fact that the item is preloved, but goods must still match the listing. No term here excludes rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded. If an item is materially different from the description or defective beyond what was disclosed, the responsible seller bears applicable return or re-delivery costs.
Amaboxly never publishes the original order number, billing information, government identity number or verification documents. Purchase matching occurs server-side and the public listing receives only the result badge.
