What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your phone or computer. Some are needed for the site to work (your cart, your login), others help us understand how the site is used or measure our advertising. Similar data is also kept in your browser’s local storage, which we treat the same way here.
Cookies and storage we use
Essential (the site does not work without them)
- wp_woocommerce_session_*, woocommerce_items_in_cart, woocommerce_cart_hash, wc_cart_hash: your shopping cart and checkout session. Kept for 2 days.
- wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*, wp-settings-*: keep you signed in to your account.
- _amx_vid: a random identifier for your browser used by our own site features, such as recently viewed items and cart reminders.
- sbjs_*: WooCommerce order attribution. Remembers how you found the site (search, ad, link) so we know which channel led to an order. Kept for 6 months.
- Cloudflare (__cf_bm, cf_clearance): security checks that protect the site from bots. Short lived.
- Local storage (currency, menu and order summary choices): remembers the currency you chose and whether you folded the bottom menu or the order summary. Stays until you clear your browser data.
Analytics (how the site is used)
- _ga, _ga_*: Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager. Counts visits, pages and purchases. Kept for up to 2 years. Google privacy policy.
- ph_*: PostHog product analytics. Shows us how pages are used and records site errors so we can fix them. Kept for up to 1 year. PostHog privacy policy.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics: page load statistics without cookies.
Advertising (measuring our ads)
- _fbp, _fbc: Meta Pixel for Facebook and Instagram ads. Tells Meta which visits and purchases came from our ads and lets Meta show you relevant ads. Kept for 3 months. You can control this in your Facebook ad preferences.
Content from other sites
- Telegram: the Telegram post shown on our homepage is loaded from telegram.org, which may set its own cookies.
- Product photos: some product images are loaded from the brands’ own image servers (for example Coach and Kate Spade). They do not set cookies.
- Google Fonts: some text styles are loaded from Google’s font service, which logs the request.
How to control cookies
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the essential cookies will stop the cart and checkout from working.
- Google: install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Meta: adjust your Facebook and Instagram ad settings.
- To stop WhatsApp or email updates from us, just tell us and we will switch them off.
