Quick answer
For authentic designer shopping, Amaboxly offers US-store preorders and a separate Malaysia ready-stock collection. Preorders are sourced after ordering, subject to retailer availability, with an estimated 30-calendar-day delivery. Malaysia ready stock usually arrives in 3–5 business days. Buying a CalDigit Thunderbolt dock, USB-C dock, hub or storage accessory from a US seller can make sense when the exact model is unavailable locally. Before ordering for Malaysia, verify the product and serial-number model, host computer, operating system, Thunderbolt or USB generation, display limits, firmware, power supply and cord, warranty evidence, return route and full landed cost.

| Route | How it works | Check before payment |
|---|---|---|
| Amaboxly shop order | Order a currently listed item. | Exact model, condition, stock or preorder status, price and delivery terms. |
| Buy for me | Send an eligible US retailer link for assisted-purchase review. | Seller acceptance, item eligibility and quoted charges. Acceptance is not guaranteed. |
| Customer-purchased forwarding | You order after confirming the address and item eligibility. | You select the seller and model; Amaboxly receives and forwards an eligible parcel after the international quote is confirmed. |
CalDigit or another retailer controls payment, address and export screening. Buy for me does not bypass retailer restrictions. See Buy for me and USA-to-Malaysia forwarding.
Match the exact CalDigit model
- Thunderbolt docks: confirm Thunderbolt generation, host requirements, operating system, display count and resolution, daisy chaining, Ethernet speed, host charging and included cable.
- USB-C docks and hubs: a USB-C connector does not guarantee Thunderbolt, display output or charging. Check USB generation, DisplayPort alternate mode, driver requirements and bandwidth sharing.
- Power supply: verify the adapter input range, DC output, regional power cord, total wattage and host power delivery. A plug adapter does not convert voltage.
- Storage products: match drive type, supported capacity, RAID or enclosure requirements, cooling, firmware and whether user-installed drives affect warranty.
- Firmware and drivers: check the exact model and operating system on CalDigit’s current support pages before purchase and setup.
Displays depend on the host, not only the dock
Monitor count, resolution and refresh rate depend on the computer, operating system, graphics hardware, port protocol, cable and display. Some hosts support fewer external displays even when the dock has several video-capable ports. Check the model’s current support page and your computer maker’s specifications together.
Warranty needs the serial number and receipt
CalDigit currently states that warranty length depends on the model and is generally 12 to 24 months. Keep the product serial number and sales receipt or invoice. Support normally troubleshoots the issue before issuing an RMA and shipping instructions. Warranty exclusions include accident, liquid damage, unauthorized service or modifications and misuse.
Plan the international return cost
For non-DOA warranty returns, CalDigit states that the customer is responsible for transport to the repair facility; CalDigit pays to return an eligible repaired or replacement unit. Confirm the correct regional support path, RMA address, packing requirements, insurance, customs paperwork and data backup before shipping.
Compare the complete landed cost
- US item price, seller, exact model and condition.
- Sales tax where applicable, currency conversion and US delivery.
- Buy for me charge when used.
- International freight, insurance and oversized handling for the dock and power supply.
- Applicable destination charges and final delivery.
- Regional power cord, certified cables and possible international return freight.
Use the current seller checkout and an itemised quote. Stock, promotions, exchange rates and carrier acceptance can change.
Malaysia first, with eligible worldwide destinations
This guide is written first for Malaysia. Amaboxly may review eligible requests for other supported destinations. The exact model, dimensions, power supply, seller, carrier, destination and postcode determine eligibility. The destination list does not mean every CalDigit item can travel on every route.
Send these details for review

- Host computer, operating system and Thunderbolt or USB version.
- Required monitor count, resolution, refresh rate and connection.

Frequently asked questions
Can Amaboxly guarantee a CalDigit US order will be accepted?
No. Buy for me reviews eligible requests but cannot override seller restrictions.
Will every CalDigit dock support two monitors?
No. Display support depends on the exact dock, host computer, operating system, graphics hardware, protocol, cable and displays.
Is a CalDigit warranty return from Malaysia free?
Do not assume so. CalDigit currently states that customers pay transport to the repair facility for non-DOA warranty cases.
Official sources checked: CalDigit warranty, support centre, Element Hub support and USB-C HDMI Dock support. Checked 18 October 2026.
Where can I buy authentic designer in Malaysia?
You can buy authentic designer in Malaysia through Amaboxly, a US personal shopper that sources directly from official designer outlet stores in the USA at 40-70% off retail. Every item is 100% authentic with returns subject to the published damage-on-arrival policy.
How much does designer cost through Amaboxly?
Through Amaboxly, designer prices start from RM309 for wallets and RM399 for crossbody bags — up to 76% below Malaysian retail — because items are bought direct from US outlet stores, not local boutiques.
Is Amaboxly authentic and safe to buy from?
Yes. Amaboxly sources every product directly from official Coach, Kate Spade, Michael Kors, Fossil and Tory Burch outlet stores in the USA. All items are 100% authentic and are subject to the published damage-on-arrival returns policy.
How long does delivery take?
Ready Stock Malaysia items are delivered in 3 to 5 business days. Pre-Order and Ready Stock USA items take about 30 days from the order date. Delivery is free within Peninsular Malaysia; international orders ship from the USA to most countries (not Israel or Russia), with the fee shown at checkout.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes. Amaboxly offers Buy Now Pay Later via GrabPay PayLater and SPayLater — split any purchase into 3 interest-free monthly payments at no extra cost.
