Match the exact HyperDrive model
- USB-C hubs: confirm the host supports the required USB generation and DisplayPort Alt Mode, then check HDMI resolution and refresh rate, port speeds, card-reader standards, Ethernet and audio.
- Thunderbolt docks: match Thunderbolt generation, operating system, monitor count, host charging, downstream ports, included power supply and cable.
- Power passthrough: a 100W input label does not mean the laptop receives 100W after hub overhead. Match the charger, cable and host requirement.
- Power banks and chargers: verify input voltage, plug, USB PD or PPS profile, printed watt-hours, carrier eligibility and recall status.
- Accessories: check device dimensions, connector placement, case clearance, supported model year and included parts.
Check the official recall list before buying
Hyper’s current recall page identifies the older HyperJuice 130W USB-C Battery Pack and HyperJuice Stackable GaN Chargers in 65W and 100W versions because of overheating risk. Do not purchase, use or forward a recalled model. Match the exact product name and UPC against the official notice.
Displays depend on the host
A USB-C connector alone does not guarantee video output, dual displays or Thunderbolt features. The HyperDrive Flex 8 Port example requires a host USB-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode for its external display. Monitor count, resolution and refresh rate still depend on the exact hub, computer, operating system, graphics hardware and cable.
Warranty and returns require seller proof
Hyper currently publishes a two-year limited warranty for hubs, power products and most eligible products. Keep the original receipt from HyperShop or an authorized seller. Secondary marketplaces and unauthorized sellers are excluded. Direct purchases may be returned within 30 days of delivery under current conditions, but an RMA is required.
Plan international shipping and return costs
Hyper currently offers FedEx shipping for some international orders, with duties based on destination rules. Checkout still determines actual eligibility. International shipping fees, import duties, taxes and associated fees are not refundable. Except for qualifying DOA products, the customer pays to ship warranty products back.
