Match the device and workload

Check the exact model, not only the capacity
SanDisk uses different product families with different speeds, endurance, warranties and regional terms. Record the full model number, package region, capacity and seller. A card marked 256GB is not automatically suitable for 4K video, a dashcam or a game console, and a USB-C connector alone does not prove the expected transfer speed.
Warranty depends on model and purchase region
SanDisk’s current warranty-period table says coverage depends on the country where the product was purchased and can differ from packaging. Internal SSDs, portable SSDs, memory cards, readers and USB drives have model-specific periods. SSD coverage can also be limited by the applicable endurance specification. Keep proof and product identifiers
SanDisk’s replacement process may require proof of purchase and clear photos of the product and label.
