US Parcel Forwarding: Tracking and Declaration Checklist

AMABOXLY · US SHOPPING & FORWARDING GUIDES

A forwarded purchase has several stages. Keep the retailer order, US parcel, warehouse record and international shipment connected so that a delivery scan is not mistaken for completion of the whole journey.

Create a record for every parcel

Save the retailer order number, seller, exact items, quantities, paid values and invoice. Add each tracking number as the retailer dispatches it. One order can arrive in several boxes, while separate orders can have different sellers and delivery dates.

Keep a simple record with one row per tracking number: retailer order, contents, invoice, US carrier, expected arrival and current account status. Do not assign the same complete order value to several boxes when that would duplicate the declaration. Ask Amaboxly how to allocate a split invoice accurately.

Declare accurate contents and value

Follow the current instructions in My Account → Forwarding. Use specific item descriptions, quantities and actual paid values supported by receipts. Include the correct tracking number and customer identifier. Ask for help if the form does not fit a mixed or split shipment.

State battery, liquid, aerosol, food, supplement and fragile-item details before purchase and shipment review. Do not hide restricted contents, invent a low value or describe a purchase as a gift to avoid import charges. Correct information helps the item and route checks.

Keep invoices and order confirmations available for any further review. A declared parcel is not automatically accepted for carriage or import; item and destination checks still apply.

Understand the delivery stages

  1. Retailer processing: an order confirmation does not mean the seller has dispatched the parcel.
  2. US transport: follow the seller’s carrier tracking to the confirmed receiving address.
  3. Warehouse handling: check that the correct parcel is associated with your forwarding record.
  4. Onward shipping: follow the confirmed international shipment information.
  5. Customs and final delivery: respond to legitimate requests for documents or charges through the confirmed service channels.

These stages can use different tracking references. Ask which number applies to which leg. A US delivered scan does not mean the parcel has reached your destination country.

Resolve a missing or mismatched record

If something looks wrong, send Amaboxly the retailer order number, tracking number, invoice, customer identifier, confirmed address used and relevant delivery evidence. Explain which stage is unclear. Keep sensitive payment details out of screenshots.

For a seller that has not dispatched, check with that retailer. For a US delivery scan with no matching account record, ask Amaboxly to investigate the receiving record. For an onward shipment, provide its international reference. Do not submit a duplicate shipment request while the original status is unresolved.

Before authorising dispatch, confirm the contents, final packed weight and dimensions, destination postcode, included charges and estimate. Use the packing and quote checklist. Malaysia fees and timing apply to Malaysia; other countries require route-specific confirmation.
